Sensitizing the public to our shared responsibility to preserve the marine environment and create a bridge between marine related science and the general audience is the main mission of Kahi Kai.

To do so, we develop several global outreach projects, organise workshop, conferences and photo exhibitions and in tight relation with local non-profits as well as scientific consortia, have contributed and participated in various expeditions around the world.
